Benaiah is distinguished by pedigree in that his grandsire is  National Champion Joshua's Sand Valley Sam aka "Cowboy" (OFA Excellent, UCDIII).   His sire, Joshua's Ol' Southern White aka "Josh" was also National Champion (SchH BH, OFA Excellent, UCDIII, K-9 Security). 

Many years of planned breeding took place for us to get Benaiah. He was produced from frozen semen from "Josh" that I collected in 1999. We waited a long time to produce this beautiful bulldog. Getting a pup from Benaiah will be like going back 20 plus years. PEDIGREE

JOSHUA'S EZRA AKA "TANK"

Tank, is a big, strong 115 lbs. of Joshua Bulldog that will win your heart. He is a direct son of Joshua's Malachi and Joshua's Digger who is out of National Champion Joshua's Isaac and our cousins "gyp" Laura's Down from Dixieman. Tank, is an excellent watchdog that always lets us know when someone is around or when some critter is in the yard. In my humble opinion, Tank would be hard to beat at the dog show.

Joshua's Sand Valley Sam A.K.A. "Cowboy" UCD III, the first OFA "Excellent" (AMB28E39M-T) male Bulldog in the world. The "Cowboy strain" of American bulldog is a complete outcross to the contemporary American Bulldog. Contemporary meaning, strains of Bulldogs made popular in the past 50 years by breeders such as Alan Scott, John D. Johnson, Williamson, Painter, Tate, etc.

I've watched this Bulldog knock a wild boar off his feet and drag him 20 feet before I could stop him. Cowboy, a real Ol' Time Bulldog, literally caught many wild hogs and never considered giving up on any bad boar. I could then take Cowboy squirrel hunting, tell him to look for'em and he'd look up every tree sniff every trunk and if there was a squirrel around he'd find him. Then if you needed a trail dog for a wounded deer come get Cowboy.

Another aspect that we are extremely proud of, Cowboy has produced many generations of certified hips and for many years was the only OFA Excellent bulldog to produce an Excellent. Now at Joshua Kennels...because of Cowboy, we have generations of structurally sound bulldogs, but more importantly, generations of ol' fashioned Bulldogs that are willing to work, such as show conformation, home protection, Shutzhund, Ring sport, weight pulling, etc..

The Legendary "Cowboy"

December 24, 1999, while I and my family were out for dinner, someone came on our property and poisoned Cowboy with anti-freeze. I buried Cowboy Christmas morning. I don't understand things like this however, God then blessed us with an outstanding son of Cowboy, "Nat'l CH. Joshua's Ol' Southern White" aka Josh and "The "Legend Continues."

Josh gave us many years of love and loyalty and became the best all-around bulldog I've ever had or seen. He, like his sire, loved to work and was an outstanding catch dog. Josh weighed 93 lbs but was much larger on the inside than he was on the out. He was a true producer of the Ol' Southern White  "type" having been sired by "Cowboy" and the best producing Ol' Southern White ever, Joshua's Shunammite aka "Baby." Josh's legacy is worldwide having sired pups, grand pups, great grands, you get the picture, in countries such as Russia, New Zealand, Australia, England, France, Germany, Sweden, etc..

National Champion Joshua's Caleb

Caleb, was an outstanding bulldog that was out of Ol' Southern White "Kittle's Sissy" and Dean's Jake (son of Schutzhund III CH. Bauelos' Predator). Caleb would catch any wild boar that walked, work as a K-9 Security dog and knock a man off his feet, as well as winning every show I placed him in.

Congratulations to Isaac for winning the 2013 NKC National Specialty Championship. Isaac is an outstanding son of Nat'l Champion Joshua's White Bandits Love and Joshua's Bailey who is out of National Champion Joshua's Ol' Southe White which is a son of the Legendary National Champion Joshua's Sand Valley Sam.  Isaac has beautiful conformation, structure, temperament and the stuff that made the bulldog breed famous, Isaac is producing great pups and is a great asset to the breeding program of Joshua Kennels. (Isaac now deceased).

May 25 2013 was indeed a big day...Isaac received 2 Best in Show Wins plus winning the Nationals against the Top 10 American Bulldogs and all the Best in Class Winners.

Jabez is a beautiful male out of National Champion Joshua's Isaac and Joshua's Zamar. He is a line-bred from the lines of Nat'l CH. Joshua's Ol' Southe White, SchH BH, OFA Excellent, UCDIII and Nat'l CH. Joshua's Sand Valley Sam aka "Cowboy," OFA Excellent, UCDIII. Jabez, is producing great pups. Congratulations to Jabez for Winning and earning 120 points at the 2013 Nationals.
